So today I go out on my balcony to get my watering can. I then bring it back inside my apartment to fill it up in my kitchen sink. All of a sudden I am surprised by something coming out of the spout of the watering can- a lizard tail! None other than a lizard proceeded to back himself up out of the spout and lurch onto the counter, scurrying away for his life. Panicking at the thought of this poor little guy getting stuck in my apartment forever, I frantically tried to catch him without injuring him, but to no avail. Finally, somehow I coaxed him onto the sleeve of my sweatshirt. Not sure how… maybe its green color reminded him of his home amongst all the plants I obsessively collect on my balcony? As soon as I saw him on my sleeve I start running through my apartment to take him outside before he changed his mind. Somehow he decided to cling on. I managed set him on my tomato plant, and he seemed much happier there. okay then end.
